Money Family Collection

Description

This collection holds 154 items pertaining to the Money family and life on Saturna Island. The Moneys have been a prominent family on Saturna for nearly a century.

Major themes within include: the Canada Day lamb bake, portraits of the Money family and Saturna residents, industry on the island (including the old shale plant, oil well, saw mill, and Tumbo coal mine), dedications and ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and miscellaneous images of the island.

We're grateful to John and Carol Money for collecting these images and lending them to the Saturna Island Heritage Archive in 2014.
